BEVERLY HILLS, July 26, (THEWILL) – There was commotion at the Ondo state house of assembly on Thursday after a snake crept into the parliament.
This prompted Bamidele Oloyelogun, the speaker, to declare indefinite recess, saying the security of the legislators could not be guaranteed.
The incident happened when the lawmakers were having the proceedings of the day.
The lawmakers fled in different directions as they shouted on top of their voices.
The snake fell from the chamber’s roof and this made all the lawmakers to run for their lives.
