November 02, (THEWILL) – The Imo State House of Assembly member for the Onuimo State constituency, Hon. James Uba Esile, has continued to receive commendations from his constituents over his effective representation in the legislative Chambers.
THEWILL gathered that among the twenty-seven (27) lawmakers in the Imo House of Assembly, the legislator for Onuimo, Hon. James Esile, has done lots of things for his people that the constituents are now asking if there were lawmakers that ever represented the State constituency in the past.
In an interview with the press on Thursday, Mr Friday Iwu of Umuduruegbeaguru said since he was born, that none of the previous lawmakers for Onuimo did what their representative, Hon. Esile has done so since he assumed Office.
A youth, Charles Ogu, noted that the people of Onuimo Local Government Area have been enjoying a better representation coupled with democracy gains, courtesy of Hon. James Uba Esile.
“In fact, if there is a trophy for the most represented State Constituency in Imo State, then Onuimo would definitely be declared champion for it because the lawmaker has done what his predecessors could not do in their times.”
Being the Chief Executive Officer of Fresh Air Movement in Imo, a non-governmental organisation that has empowered youths, paid the hospital bills of many poor people, funded the education of the less privileged persons, offered grants to men, and women, and given financial support to petty traders.
“Hon Uba James Esile is our son and Honorable in whom we are well pleased. He has so far represented us well, we believe in his capacity and ability to deliver that is why we voted for him without any regrets”, he said.
Egbule further stated that Hon Esile has sponsored bills and also moved people-oriented motions that positively impacted the lives of the people of Onuimo particularly and Imo State in general.
