You’ll often read about me railing against communism, thinking that the source of our problems lies within the communist concept of land collectivization.
Believing that I’d laid out the heart of the problem I’ve watched the return of weak contrary arguments, but the heart and soul of the problem lies elsewhere, somewhere I’d forgotten to look.
It lies in theocracy, and now the attempt to extend that theocracy to us to ensure a millennium of poverty for us.
With the extension of this theocracy to us we will forever forestall that notion that we’re on anything resembling the notion of a “developing country”, indeed we’re being deliberately led in the opposite direction.
You’ve read the recent calls for the extension of a “side-by-side” existence of theocratic law with secular law, this is the multiheaded hydra.
In economics there are three factors of production: Land, Labor and Capital.
Under the proposed National Sharia Law, what is being proposed is the elimination of “land” as a factor of production.

The author argued that Western economic power has been derived not by the monetization of land but rather by the reinvestment of business returns i.e. net profits, this is laughable!
What we need is an end to the vision of Nigeria as currently conceived; a perpetual international beggar that deliberately beggars itself.
Better would be for those keen on Theocracy to have their country and those keen to bequeath respect to: Our ancestors male and female, our contemporaries, and future generations, to form our own countries no matter how small but mighty with the conviction of our purpose.
This game of pretending to go along to get along is “long in the tooth”.
