October 26, (THEWILL) — Galatasaray defeated Goztepe 3-1 at Rams Park in Istanbul on 26 October 2025, maintaining their position at the top of the Turkish Super Lig table.
The Round 10 fixture saw the hosts overturn an early deficit through goals from Victor Osimhen, Gabriel Sara, and Mauro Icardi. Efkan Bekiroğlu netted for the visitors before their momentum collapsed following a first-half dismissal.
Goztepe took the lead in the sixth minute when Bekiroğlu converted from a rapid break. Galatasaray responded within 13 minutes as Osimhen dribbled past goalkeeper Mateusz Lis to find the net from a tight angle.

Goztepe struggled to mount any meaningful response whilst defending repeated attacks. Davinson Sánchez received Galatasaray’s sole caution in the 15th minute, with no further disciplinary action affecting the contest’s flow.
The victory extends Galatasaray’s unbeaten record to 28 points from 10 matches in the 2025 Turkish Super Lig campaign.
Goztepe remain in sixth place with 16 points, their defensive vulnerabilities exposed during the second period.
