BEVERLY HILLS, July 11, (THEWILL) – Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday left Nigeria for London, United Kingdom, where he is scheduled to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari.
THEWILL recalls that Buhari left the country on May 7 for follow up consultation with his doctors in London where he is currently receiving medical treatment.
He had in a communication to the two Chambers of the National Assembly, indicated that only his doctors would decide the duration of his medical trip which is the second one this year and asking Osinbajo to coordinate affairs in his absence.
Osinbajo left for London after making a brief remark at the Presidential Quarterly Business Forum held at the old Banquet Hall of the State House, Abuja, on Tuesday morning.
A tweet on the Twitter handle of his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, confirmed the Acting President’s trip to United Kingdom.

Akande said Osinbajo would meet Buhari in London and return to the country immediately after the meeting.
He wrote, “AgP Osinbajo meeting with President Buhari in London today, and returning to Abuja immediately afterwards.”
