SAN FRANCISCO, March 14, (THEWILL) – Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday met behind closed doors with the Bauchi State Governor, Mohammed Abubakar and the Adamawa State Governor, Jibrila Bindow at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The two governors are seeking second tenure on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The meeting, held at the vice president’s office, may not be unconnected with the inconclusive polls in the state as the governorship results of the March 9th elections in the two states were declared inconclusive.

At the end of his meeting with Osinbajo, Bauchi governor declined to speak to reporters who approached him for an interview on the outcome of the meeting.

THEWILL recalls that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), had fixed Saturday, 23rd March, for the re-run elections in some states, including Adamawa and Bauchi.
