BEVERLY HILLS, CA, January 20, (THEWILL) – The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Monday ratified the appointment of Mr. Ahmadu Adamu Mu’azu, a former Governor of Bauchi State, as National Chairman of the party.
THEWILL had on Sunday night broken the news of the unanimous selection of Mu’azu as new chairman by President Goodluck Jonathan and the Governors of States controlled by the PDP.
The motion to approve Mu’azu’s appointment was moved by the Bauchi State Governor, Mr. Isa Yuguda while Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba seconded.
Mu’azu will oversee the affairs of the party until it holds a national convention later in the year.
