Police Arrest Eight Suspected Bandits In Zamfara

BEVERLY HILLS, August 12, (THEWILL) – The Zamfara State Command has revealed that it has arrested eight suspected bandits who attacked the Gurbin Bore Market on Saturday evening, in Zurmi Local Government Area of the state.

In a statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Shehu, “The bandits were arrested by a team of policemen when they attacked the market and abducted a native of the community.

“The command’s tactical teams swiftly arrived the scene, cordoned it off and rescued the victim from the bandits, while guns and other dangerous weapons were equally recovered from them”, he added.

He further disclosed that all the suspects are in Police custody undergoing interrogation after which they will be charged to court for prosecution.
