April 14, (THEWILL) — The Commissioner of Police in Akwa Ibom State, CP Baba Mohammed Azare, has moved to strengthen collaboration between law enforcement and the judiciary, following a high-level meeting with Court of Appeal Justice, Ntong Ntong.
During a courtesy visit to the jurist at his residence, the police chief emphasised the need for closer institutional synergy to enhance the administration of justice and sustain law and order across the state.
The engagement highlighted the growing importance of cooperation between the Nigeria Police Force and the judiciary in addressing security challenges and ensuring due process.
CP Azare reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to upholding the rule of law and aligning policing operations with constitutional provisions and judicial expectations, noting that respect for judicial processes remains central to effective policing and public trust.
In a related development, the police commissioner inspected an ongoing police station building project within the area. He expressed satisfaction with the pace of work, stressing that improved infrastructure is critical to boosting operational efficiency and service delivery.
The Akwa Ibom State Police Command reiterated its resolve to deepen partnerships with key stakeholders as part of broader efforts to guarantee the safety and security of residents.
