SAN FRANCISCO, April 24, (THEWILL) – The police have provided details of how Senator Dino Melaye made attempt to escape from custody on Tuesday.
THEWILL recalls that the Senator was taken to a hospital in Abuja after breaking his leg during his attempted escape from custody as he was being taken to Kogi for trial.
The police had previously arrested some suspects who allegedly confessed to being armed and financed by the Senator who represents Kogi West.
Although the senator strongly denied any links to the suspects or the murder case at the heart of his ordeal, the Police has insisted that the Senator would be taken to Lokoja to stand trial.
