BEVERLY HILLS, November 18, (THEWILL) – Owing the scheduled resumption of the House of Representatives on Thursday, November 20, the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has set up a Special Committee to screen all serving members of the National Assembly aspiring to re-contest in the 2015 National Assembly election. The screening is scheduled to hold in Abuja on Thursday, November 20 and Friday, November 21.
A statement issued Tuesday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, said all such members of the National Assembly are to appear before the special screening panel at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja with their relevant documents for the screening on the above-mentioned dates.
