David Moyes’ appointment as Real Sociedad manager will be confirmed in the next 24 hours, according to Sky sources.
It is understood the former Everton and Manchester United manager arrived in San Sebastian on Wednesday afternoon to meet up with the club’s president, ahead of signing the proposed deal at the Primera Division club.
After signing the 18-month contract, it is believed Moyes will perform a number of customary duties, including photographs for the club’s website, before he is introduced at a press conference on Thursday.
Sky Sports News’ Dharmesh Sheth said: “No hitches are expected and it’s just a matter of time until we can officially say that David Moyes is the Real Sociedad manager.”
Moyes first assignment in charge of Sociedad will see him take his new team to Galicia to face Deportivo La Coruna live in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Saturday, November 22 at 9pm.
