November 02, (THEWILL) — Cristiano Ronaldo struck twice to earn Al-Nassr a 2-1 win over Al-Fayha at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh on Saturday. The Portuguese forward cancelled out Jason’s 13th-minute opener before converting a stoppage-time penalty that arrived after a marathon VAR check. The result kept Al-Nassr top of the Saudi Pro League table and maintained their flawless record in the 2025 season.
Al-Fayha took an early lead when Jason converted after a long ball caught the home defence off guard, with Mohammed Al-Baqawi providing the assist. Joao Felix had already tested the visiting goalkeeper in the sixth minute, and Kingsley Coman thought he had equalised only for VAR to disallow the goal for offside against Sadio Mane.

The review extended stoppage time to 15 minutes and awarded Al-Nassr a penalty. Ronaldo stepped up in the 90+14th minute and sent his shot into the top corner, sealing the points for the hosts.
The victory extended Al-Nassr’s scoring run, the longest since the 2011/2012 season. Their unbeaten start continues to put pressure on rivals in the title race. Ronaldo’s intervention when it mattered most reinforced his importance to the team’s ambitions this campaign.
