December 23, (THEWILL) – Mohamed Salah sparked fresh speculation about his Liverpool future following an outstanding performance in the 6-3 victory against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Egyptian forward contributed two goals and two assists, making English Premier League history by becoming the first player to reach double figures in both scoring and assists before Christmas.
Speaking after the match, Salah addressed questions regarding his future at the club, stating, “It’s great to achieve that at such a big club, but the most important thing is that we won the game. Wherever I am going to end my career I am happy about it.”
When questioned about his contract situation, the forward confirmed there was “no update.”

The forward also addressed defensive concerns following the match, noting, “We were quite good in front but I think we need to improve defensively as a team. Conceding three goals is quite hard. It’s quite a good result and hopefully, we just keep going.”
