October 15, (THEWILL) – Atletico Madrid de Femenino defeated Huelva 5-0, with Rasheedat Ajibade scoring four of the five-goal haul.
Her first goal was assisted by Ludmila Da Silva in the 26th minute and she picked up from there in the second half with her second goal in the 51st minute.
The game’s third goal for Atletico Madrid came from Silva in the 70th minute. And, two quickfire goals in the 88th and 90th minute, from Ajibade sealed up the game as a contest and ensured victory for Atletico, while simultaneously putting Huelva’s troubles further into perspective.
The Super Falcons star has distinguished herself this season for her brilliant creativity and attacking abilities just as she has consistently been a part of the national team and their pursuit for trophies and titles.
Ajibade had not scored in the league up until this past weekend, but she now has the same number of goals in the same number of games all in one afternoon. In the standings, Atletico is third, after Barcelona and Levante.
