February 01, (THEWILL) — Benjamin Sesko struck deep into stoppage time to earn Manchester United a dramatic 3-2 win over Fulham at Old Trafford on Sunday, extending Michael Carrick’s flawless start to three victories from three English Premier League matches.
The late goal lifted United into fourth place after they had squandered a two-goal advantage.
Casemiro opened the scoring with a header in the 19th minute before delivering a no-look pass that allowed Matheus Cunha to double the lead in the 56th minute.
United appeared in control, but Fulham pulled one back when Raul Jimenez converted an 85th-minute penalty after Harry Maguire lunged in the box.
