April 14, (THEWILL) – Fast rising music artiste, Akintunde Abiodun Timileyin, professionally known as, T.I Blaze, has been arrested by the Nigeria Police.
A video surfaced on social media on Thursday showing the singer’s associates raising alarm that he had been arrested.
“They’re always harassing T.I Blaze. They’ve arrested him. See the plate number”, one of the associates screamed.
Prior to this, T.I Blaze had taken to social media to write in Pidgin English that some police officer threatened to “spray everybody, (with bullets).”
“Police tell me say if naa bush side, they will spray everybody. This country is gone”, he stated.
The singer’s trouble with the police is coming two weeks after two of his associates were arrested by some operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in a midnight raid.
The singer shared a video of his apartment in disarray, while calling out to Nigerians to pray for his team.
“NDLEA bumped into my apartment this morning and scattered everywhere. They said I sang about Canadian loud. They also arrested my manager and road manager. They took them away in their Hilux”, the singer wrote.
Femi Babafemi, NDLEA spokesperson, revealed that 2.7 kg of cannabis loud, 5.2 grams of methamphetamine and 13 tablets of Molly were recovered from his house.
