BEVERLY HILLS, February 06, (THEWILL) – The State Security Service (SSS) Thursday took controversial former militant commander, Mr. Mujahideen Asari-Dokubo, into custody over inciting statements warning the north of severe consequences if his kinsman, President Goodluck Jonathan fails to win re-election in 2015.
Nigeria’s main opposition party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) had earlier demanded Asari’s arrest over his unending “reckless” statements considering that the SSS detained a senior member of the APC, Mr. Nasiru El-rufai, over a similar comment.
