SAN FRANCISCO, September 20, (THEWILL) – The Supreme Court has validated the election of Mr. Yahaya Bello as governor of Kogi State, throwing out the claim of James Faleke that he was the rightful candidate for the position.

The Justice Sylvester Ngwata-led seven-man panel on Tuesday in Abuja unanimously upheld the election after listening to the closing statements of all the counsel.

The apex court however said it will provide reasons for its decision on September 30.
