Supreme Court Upholds Delta, Oyo, Yobe Governorship Elections

SAN FRANCISCO, February 02, (THEWILL) – The Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld the elections of Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi; Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa; and Yobe State Governor, Ibrahim Gaidam.

The court fixed February 15 to give reasons for its unanimous judgment in the election.

This follows the same pattern of the court in its decision on the gubernatorial election in Rivers state.

However, in this cases, the court did not up-turn the judgement of the Appeal court.
