Tinubu Returns

April 21, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu on Monday returned to Nigeria 19 days after visits to France and the United Kingdom.

The President departed for Paris on April 2, 2025, for what the Presidency described as a two-week working visit.

According to the official statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the trip was intended to “appraise his administration’s mid-term performance and assess key milestones.”

Onanuga said in a statement last Thursday, that President Tinubu “left Paris for London at the weekend.”

However, the President’s airplane arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at about 9p.m on Monday.

He was welcomed on arrival by several government officials.
