August 24, (THEWILL) — President of the Tiv socio-cultural body, the Mdzough U Tiv, Zamfara state chapter, Mr Garba Aondona Sule, and the Ter Zamfara, Chief Emmanuel Aondoakaa Hiar, have described the visit of the Tiv paramount ruler, the Tor Tiv, Professor James Iorzuua Ayatse, to Kaduna state as not only historic but a demonstration of a caring father.
The group were apparently thrilled over the visit of the Tiv paramount ruler, Professor Ayatse, to the North West, particularly Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in Kaduna State, where he commissioned the Royal Choice Inn Guest House.
The two leaders in a joint statement on Sunday, on behalf of Tiv people in Zamfara state, expressed gratitude to the Tor Tiv for his decision to come to the North West to check on how his subjects are faring, a development they noted made them so proud and feel covered by the ancestors of the Tiv Kingdom with the physical presence of the custodian of the throne and father of all Tiv people world wide.
“The commissioning of Royal Choice Inn at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, constructed by Chief Felix Akiga, by the Tor Tiv challenged us to also embark on such a wonderful project which is capable of addressing the menace of unemployment faced by Tiv youths in the region”, they declared.
The statement particularly thanks the Begha-U-Tiv for his fearless presentation of the true security situation in Benue State during the visit of President Bola Tinubu to the state, which they said changed the narrative and promptly brought respite to not only the Tiv Kingdom but the entire Benue State.
While pledging the unflinching loyalty of Tiv people residents in Zamfara state to the Tor Tiv and the throne of his ancestors, the leaders assured and expressed their readiness to abide by the wise counsel of their father to prosper.
“We hereby pledge on behalf of the entire Tiv people residing in Zamfara to abide by the wise counsel of our Royal Father, Orcivirigh Prof James Ortese Iorzua Ayatse, which has touched the very fabric of our souls”, the statement added.
The group said they felt covered, blessed and inspired by the Tor Tiv’s visit to the zone.
