November 08, (THEWILL) — Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United shared the points in a dramatic 2-2 draw at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday. Bryan Mbeumo opened the scoring for the visitors in the first half, and United appeared set for victory until the closing stages. Mathys Tel equalised, before Richarlison struck in stoppage time, only for Matthijs de Ligt to head home in the 96th minute.

United’s opener arrived after half an hour when Matheus Cunha fed Amad Diallo, whose cross found Mbeumo unmarked. Tottenham’s defending drew criticism, with Richarlison among those who failed to close down the delivery. The Brazilian had earlier missed a gilt-edged headed chance when the score was level.
Home supporters voiced their frustration at half-time following a lacklustre first-half performance. Boos greeted the interval, but Frank’s substitutions altered the trajectory of the match.
