August 28, (THEWILL) — The 2025/2026 Champions League draw has been completed in Monaco, determining the fixture list for Europe’s premier club competition.
The tournament will feature a new league phase format with teams from four different pots facing eight opponents each across home and away matches.
Real Madrid will host Manchester City, Juventus, Marseille and Monaco at the Santiago Bernabéu, whilst travelling to face Liverpool, Benfica, Olympiacos and Kairat Almaty. Manchester City received home fixtures against Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Napoli and Galatasaray, with away trips to Real Madrid, Villarreal, Bodø/Glimt and Monaco scheduled.
Bayern Munich will welcome Chelsea, Club Brugge, Sporting CP and Union Saint-Gilloise to the Allianz Arena, before visiting Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, PSV Eindhoven and Pafos. Liverpool face Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid, PSV Eindhoven and Qarabağ at Anfield, with away matches against Inter, Eintracht Frankfurt, Marseille and Galatasaray confirmed.
The league phase begins between 16-18 September 2025, with the opening matchday fixtures kicking off the competition.
Six of the eight matchdays will take place during 2025, concluding with all final league phase games played simultaneously on 28 January 2026 to maintain sporting integrity.
The knockout playoff draw follows on 30 January 2026, with the two-legged elimination ties scheduled for mid-February.
Teams will compete across eight matchdays, with games on 30 September-1 October, 21-22 October, 4-5 November, 25-26 November, 9-10 December, and 20-21 January leading up to the final league phase fixtures.
