BEVERLY HILLS, March 05, (THEWILL) –Â Central Bank Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele has said rumours of his removal from office being peddled online are untrue saying he has been at work, adding that his 5-year tenure ends in June this year.
Emefiele, who has successfully implemented the present administration’s agricultural revolution that has made Nigeria the top rice producer in Africa, edging out Egypt, is eligible for reappointment for another term by President Muhammadu Buhari if he so wishes.
The reformer spoke to journalists at the CBN headquarters in Abuja Tuesday.
