March 08, (THEWILL) – Manchester City defender, Kyle Walker, is facing potential legal trouble, after he was reportedly caught on CCTV footage, exposing himself in a Manchester bar over the weekend.
Footage showing Walker out with friends in the bar on Sunday, where he allegedly appeared to be drunk and behaving inappropriately, was published in some media. The England international allegedly took down his tracksuit bottoms to expose himself, first to his friends and then within view of a separate group of women.
The City team was given two days off by Pep Guardiola after their win over Newcastle last weekend, with the next match scheduled against Crystal Palace on Saturday. Walker reportedly spent 90 minutes drinking and dirty dancing with the female friends, pawing at one of their breasts and kissing her. Notably, the woman was not his wife, Annie.
Guardiola has previously punished players who were spotted out drinking, with Jack Grealish and Phil Foden left out of his squad after a night out in December 2021. However, City will not be taking action against Walker, as it is a personal matter and the night out took place while the team was given two days off.
The defender reported to training on time on Tuesday. This is not the first time Walker has landed himself in trouble, as he was previously accused of hosting a “sex party” at his home during the UK’s lockdown in April 2020.
