SAN FRANCISCO, September 08, (THEWILL) – Former Cameroonian International and Barcelona FC striker, Samuel Eto’o, has enjoined Spanish side, Barcelona to recruit quality players that can adapt to their style of play to ease the pressure on Argentine playmaker, Messi.
THEWILL recalls that Messi had previously requested a transfer away from the club but rescinded the move following the contract dispute that ensued.
“I am happy because my son Messi has stayed at his house, but at Barca, we need other players with Blaugrana DNA. Messi alone is not enough,” Eto’o said at a La Liga event as reported by TuttoMercato.

“You need to look for players on the market with tiki-taka style and not box to box.”
Eto urged Barcelona to go for the championship in the coming season and also hopes that Mallorca FC, where he also played, would return back to top-flight football.
He said: “I want Barcelona to win the championship and I hope that my Mallorca returns to the top division.”
