July 29, (THEWILL) – The organisers of the 16th Headies Award show have announced that the winner of this year’s ‘Rookie of the Year’ category will get a fully furnished house.
They made this known at an event held on Friday, ahead of the 16th edition of the award scheduled for September 3, 2022.
The award ceremony will hold in Atlanta, United States, for the second consecutive year.
The award organisers added that this year’s headline sponsor will give the two-bedroom, fully-furnished apartment to the winner of the award.
Abimbola Olatokun, professionally known as Bayanni, Sulaimon Solomon, aka Khaid, and Tochukwu Ojogwu, also known as Odumodublvck, are battling for the 2023 Headies ‘Rookie of The Year’ category.
Other artistes in the category include Ugochi Onuoha, also known as Guchi, Oluwo David, aka Eltee Skhiliz, and Emoseh Khamofu, also known as Bloody Civilian.
