March 22, (THEWILL) – On Tuesday night, Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen, arrived at the Abuja camp of the Super Eagles after signing an endorsement deal earlier in the day.
As THEWILL reported, Osimhen penned an endorsement deal with the British multinational consumer goods company, Reckitt Benckiser Group plc. His late arrival caused him to miss the team’s second training session at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
However, despite missing the training session, the 24-year-old is expected to lead the Super Eagles attack against Guinea-Bissau on Friday. With 22 out of 23 invited players now in the team’s John Woods Hotel base, Porto defender, Zaidu Sanusi, is the only player yet to report to camp.
Currently, players in camp include Osimhen, Kelechi Iheanacho, Samuel Chukwueze, Calvin Bassey, Terem Moffi and Paul Onuachu. Others are Ahmed Musa, Kevin Akpoguma, Francis Uzoho, Joe Aribo, Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi and Moses Simon.
Frank Onyeka, Simi Ajayi, Chijioke Aniagboso, Daniel Bameyi, Kenneth Omeruo, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Victor Sochima and Bruno Onyemaechi complete the squad members in camp.
