September 30, (THEWILL) – After two years of virtual shows due to the impact of the pandemic, African Muzik Magazine Awards, AFRIMMA, is set to return with an in-person ceremony on November 19, 2022, at the Gilley’s Event centre, Dallas, Texas.
The 2022 African Muzik Magazine Awards AFRIMMA nominations are dominated by young singers led by Ayra Starr, Rema, Ruger, and BNXN.
Tagged “This is Africa,” the award show seeks to consolidate the growth of the previous award ceremonies and the massive growth of African music culture.
The nominee’s list was put together by the AFRIMMA technical team after a painstaking research and due diligence.
Other top nominees include Asake, Jay Melody, Marioo, Black Sheriff, Burna Boy, Diamond Platnumz, and Focalistic.
Also, music stars like Ammarae, Mahkhadzi, Gambo, and DJ Snake, all earned their first AFRIMMA nominations.
