SAN FRANCISCO, September 14, (THEWILL) – The Abia state Police Command now has a new Commissioner of Police in Mr. Micheal Ogbizi
He is taking over from Adeleye Oyebade. As at press time on Thursday, the handover is taking place at the command headquarters in Umuahia, the state capital.
THEWILL had earlier reported of the setting ablaze of Ariaria Market Police Station in the commercial hub of Aba in Abia state. The state has witnessed increasing tension following the patrol of troops in the area.
