May 14, (THEWILL) – Murphy Afolabi, a Nollywood actor in the Yoruba-speaking genre of the movie industry, is dead.
He reportedly died from injuries he sustained when he fell in his bathroom.
Confirming his death, a colleague of his, Tunde Ola-Yusuf, took to social media to pen a short note to mourn him.
“REST IN PEACE…May God give the family and close associates the fortitude to bear the loss,” Ola-Yuduf, an actor, producer and director wrote.
Murphy, who celebrated his birthday on May 5, majorly operates in the Yoruba sector of the movie industry.
