January 04, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress, Kemi Adetiba, has confirmed that the making of the third part of her blockbuster movie, ‘King of Boys’ is already in progress.
Adetiba took to her Instagram on Wednesday, to make this known.
In the post, the director promised fans of the series a wild ride as she shared a picture of herself seated with the stars of the film, Sola Sobowale and Seun Kuti.
“I just need y’all to know… That KOB 3 is gonna be a Wild ride!!! #Sayingalotwithoutsayintoomuch #KOB3 #Whenthunderandlightningmeetonscreen,” she captioned the picture.
First released in 2018, ‘King of Boys’ tells the story of an ambitious crime lord and businesswoman, Eniola Salami, which was acted by Sobowale.
After tragically losing her children in the first movie, Salami returns from exile in part 2 titled, “The Return Of The King”.
In the seven-part Netflix series released in 2021, Eniola fought and won a tough battle to clinch the governorship seat of Lagos State, thereby solidifying her influence politically.
Part 3 of the series is one of the most anticipated in 2023.
