
January 06, (THEWILL) – Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has congratulated renowned gospel music minister, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, on his invitation to minister at the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast for the 47th President-elect of the United States, Donald J. Trump, scheduled for January 20, 2025.
In a congratulatory message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh, Governor Eno lauded Pastor Bassey, an indigene of Akwa Ibom, for exemplifying the state’s values of excellence, creativity, and universal love.
“Your invitation to minister at such a significant global event underscores your influence and the impactful work you have done in spreading the gospel and expanding the Lord’s Kingdom,” the statement read.
Eno commended the internationally celebrated gospel minister for his unwavering dedication to his faith and for being a proud ambassador of Akwa Ibom State.
“We have been deeply honoured by the love you consistently show for your state of origin and the unwavering support and prayers you extend to our administration.
“You represent the Akwa Ibom spirit of excellence, creativity, industry, and universal love. As you take the stage at the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast, we are confident that you will continue to embody these virtues on this global platform.
“We are immensely proud of you. Congratulations, our dear son,” the governor said.
