August 18, (THEWILL) – Former Super Eagles forward, Daniel Amokachi’s twin son, Nazim Amokachi, has taken a noteworthy step by selecting Zambia’s NAPSA Stars as his next footballing destination.

In a departure from the more conventional path of joining top Nigeria Premier League teams like reigning champions Enyimba FC, Nazim has opted to expand his horizons beyond Nigeria’s borders. Carrying forward the family legacy as a forward, Nazim has committed to a two-year contract with NAPSA Stars, from his previous club, Lobi Stars, in the NPL.

The Liverpool-born Nazim has gained valuable experience across different countries, including spells with clubs in England, Besiktas U21 in Turkey, and JS Hercules in Finland, along with his younger brother, Kalim.

His footballing journey has now led him to Zambia, where he joins forces with fellow striker, Saith Sakala.

The press release from NAPSA Stars introduced these new recruits, with Ponga Liwewe, the club’s CEO, expressing strong confidence in their ability to contribute both on and off the field. Liwewe conveyed, “We believe that these two exceptional players will make a significant impact on our success in the upcoming season.”

This move signifies a captivating turning point in Nazim’s career, adding an international flavour as he also holds Tunisian citizenship.

His venture into the world of Zambian football with NAPSA Stars holds the promise of an enthralling chapter in his footballing journey, one that could shape his trajectory in the years to come.
