BEVERLY HILLS, September 5, (THEWILL) – Senator Ibikunle Amosun, the Governor of Ogun State Wednesday announced his bid to return to the Senate in 2019 to stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, when his tenure as governor ends.
Amosun will seek to represent Ogun Central Senatorial district, the same district he represented between 2003 and 2007 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Governor also told stakeholders of the APC during a meeting in Abeokuta, the Ogun capital that he would make an announcement on his preferred successor on Thursday.
The APC Governorship primary has been scheduled for September 25, 2018.
