June 26, (THEWILL) – Tobi Amusan, the World Record holder in hurdles, is set to make her highly anticipated return to the track, as she prepares to take on the world’s top hurdlers at two prestigious events.
On Tuesday, June 27th, Amusan will kick off her comeback by participating in the Golden Spike meet in Ostrava, where she will face formidable opponents such as Olympic champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, former world champion, Nia Ali, and the rising star, Tia Jones, from the United States.
Following her appearance in Ostrava, Amusan will continue her campaign in the Diamond League, debuting on Friday, June 30th in Lausanne, where she will confront a challenging lineup, including Camacho-Quinn, Ali, Jones, and the standout hurdler of the season, Alaysha Johnson.
Having emerged victorious at the Racers Grand Prix in Jamaica just three weeks ago, Amusan aims to maintain her momentum.
