Ancelotti was spotted donning sunglasses and puffing on a cigar during the team’s celebratory parade through the streets of Madrid on Sunday. This iconic image has become a trademark of the successful coach’s trophy celebrations.

Rather than waiting until the end of their campaign, Real Madrid opted to throw a parade on Sunday, less than 24 hours after securing a 4-0 victory away at Granada. The spirits were high as the first team made their way through the city on an open-top bus.
Ancelotti’s cigar-smoking celebration has become a tradition for the Italian manager. During a similar trophy parade in 2022, he was photographed wearing sunglasses and smoking a cigar atop the team bus, surrounded by players like Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Eder Militao, and David Alaba. This year, the same quartet of players joined Ancelotti and Eduardo Camavinga for the iconic celebratory picture.
After Saturday’s win at Granada, Ancelotti promised to bring back his famous look, and he stayed true to his word. He took to Madrid’s new bus with sunglasses across his face and a cigar in his mouth. Ancelotti later commented to a large crowd gathered on the streets below: “I have a dream…to dance with Eduardo Camavinga!”
Real Madrid could end the season with one further trophy after reaching the UEFA Champions League final, where they will face Borussia Dortmund. Los Blancos came from behind to beat Bayern Munich late on in the second leg of their semi-final on Wednesday, after which Ancelotti proclaimed this was the best squad he has worked with in his esteemed career.
