April 04, (THEWILL) – The clash between American singer, Belcarlis Marlenis Almanzar, also known as Cardi B and her fans, has resulted in the singer deleting her Twitter handle.
On Sunday, fans of the singer attacked her for not attending the Grammys.
Her children were also included in the bashing spree and that was when she tweeted and revealed that she was deleting her account on the social media platform.
“I am deleting my Twitter on God, I hate this fucking dumbass fan base. You got the slow dumb assess, dragging my kids all cause y’all thought I was going to the Grammys and I didn’t fuck.”
The singer took to Instagram live shortly after deleting her Twitter to explain why she got irritated.
She revealed that she had posted from New York with her kids heard in the background and asked her fans why she would go to an award show at the moment.
She stated that she only got one nomination. Moreso, she doesn’t have a new song.
“Do I have my new music? Why would I show up with only one nomination? And I lost it anyway, so you wanted me to go to the Grammy, lose an award and me just be there smiling like ‘that’s great, that’s great. Like, come on now my n….a. Come on now, I don’t like that shit.”
