January 02, (THEWILL) – Popular Nollywood actress, Anita Joseph, has issued a public apology to her colleague and former best friend, Uche Elendu for calling her out and labelling her a witch, over a hair-related issue.
The two curvy actresses used to be friends until Joseph landed a partnership deal with a hair company.
She called out her bestie in a viral video in November 2019, where she alleged that Elendu, who sells hair products, was angry at her for modelling the hair of another brand and held it against her.
She called her a witch, who wants her to remain broke while recounting how she patronised Elendu’s hair products numerous times despite not benefiting from her as her big customer.
A few hours before the new year, Joseph took to her official Facebook page to apologise to Elendu for accusing her of practising witchcraft.
In the clip, she reiterated that she regretted her actions and missed their friendship.
“I wanted to post this before the new year. The most important thing about being an adult is knowing when to stop.
“When to apologize and when to let go. Happy new year in advance, shalom shalom.
“To err is human, to forgive is divine. Some years back, I called my best friend out, Uche Elendu.
“I was hurt but I was not supposed to do that. I’m using this medium to say I am sorry.
“Baby girl, you are not a witch, my family begged me to take down that video but I said no because I was hurt.
“I love you and miss you. I’m sorry”, she stated.
