July 27, (THEWILL) – Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the founder and general overseer of Omega Power Ministries, OPM, has revealed that he has withdrawn some privileges from people he placed on scholarship abroad.
The clergy made this known in a post on his Facebook page while reviewing modalities of granting scholarships to beneficiaries abroad.
This development is coming after Happy Boys, two former security guards he placed on scholarship to Cyprus turned their backs against him and called him out on social media for abandoning them.
The clergy later forgave them and offered them scholarships to continue their education in Nigeria, Ghana or Benin Republic.
Taking to Facebook, Apostle Chinyere, who just recovered after being hospitalised, appreciated everyone.
“I am Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, the general overseer of Omega Power Ministry, OPM, thank everyone that has been praying for my quick recovery, God has taken control of my health and the devil has been put to shame.
“I collapsed last year July at OPM free hospital and was rushed to Dubai for treatment because of stress. I collapsed again this year in July at the Lagos airport while trying to visit my doctor after I noticed some changes in my body because of so many stress.
“By the grace of God, I will no longer over stress myself again because I have many more destinies God will use me to save”, he wrote.
Speaking on his empowerment programmes, the clergy noted that he has made some adjustment to avoid past mistakes he made.
He noted that there will no longer be feeding allowance for beneficiaries if they are sent overseas.
“I shall commence OPM overseas empowerment program on some conditions attached to avoid stress and negative past experiences. Once OPM send you overseas, OPM will only pay for one month accommodation.
“On like the 300 people I sent to Dubai. (It can be confirmed). I paid for their rent for almost one year, till I said I will no longer pay for people who went there to hustle. No more!
“No feeding money will be given to you. You don enter hustle as soon as you land. Remember you are not to refund the money OPM spent on you to travel overseas as it has always been.”
He advised potential beneficiaries to work hard and sustain themselves when they get the opportunity to travel abroad.
“So hustle, help your family and help other less privilege people because when you help others that is when God will bless you more. The secret of my success in just 16 years of establishing OPM is helping others actualise their dreams”, he stated.
