Army Troops Kill 3 Boko Haram Terrorists In Borno

SAN FRANCISCO, August 24, (THEWILL) – The Nigerian Army has said its troops of 151 Battalion deployed in Operation Lafiya Dole, killed three members of the Boko Haram terrorists in the early hours of Wednesday.

The Army, in a statement by its spokesman, Brigadier General Texas Chukwu, said the terrorists were killed during an ambush along Banki Junction- Mayanti village in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.

He said items recovered from the terrorists included three AK 47 rifles, three magazines, 32 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, one motorcycle and two Android phones.

“Efforts are on by the troops to get the other fleeing members of the Boko Haram terrorists,” he said.
