SAN FRANCISCO, August 16, (THEWILL) – Spanish giant, Barcelona, is considering replacing coach, Quique Setien, with former striker, Thierry Henry.
Henry is currently managing MLS side, Montreal Impact, who he has helped to one victory in his six games in charge.
The former striker was also an assistant coach to Roberto Martinez at Belgium before he took his first managerial job at Monaco. He was sacked from the role early this year after he won only four matches out of 20 games.
Massimiliano Allegri (formerly of Milan and Juventus) and Mauricio Pochettino have also been shortlisted for the job.
THEWILL reports that Henry scored 49 goals for Barcelona across three seasons.
