September 01, (THEWILL) – In their DFB-Pokal first-round match against Viktoria Koln, Ryan Gravenberch and Mathys Tel, both scored their debut goals for Bayern Munich, as Julian Nagelsmann’s team easily defeated their hosts 5-0.
Ten minutes before halftime, Gravenberch, a June signing from Ajax, scored his first goal for Bayern, and 17-year-old Tel, who had just arrived from Rennes, added an outstanding second.
Shortly after the break, Sadio Mane made it 3-0 with a straightforward tap-in, and replacement, Jamal Musiala, added a fourth with Bayern running rampant over Koln.
Eight minutes before the end, Leon Goretzka scored his first goal of the year to help Bayern easily defeat their opponents from the third division, who really stood no chance against their free-scoring opponents.
Bayern will travel to Union Berlin on Saturday, to resume their Bundesliga schedule.
