SAN FRANCISCO, July 12, (THEWILL) – Bollywood superstar, Aishwarya Rai, and her eight-year-old daughter, Aaradhya have tested positive for the coronavirus.
The development is coming hours after her husband and fellow actor, Abhishek Bachchan and his veteran actor dad, Amitabh Bachchan announced they had tested positive. Both father and son have been hospitalized in Mumbai.
“Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home,” Abhishek Bachchan tweeted on Sunday.
“The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful. The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers.”
