BEVERLY HILLS, March 09, (THEWILL) – Authorities in Brazil have filed corruption charges against former President Lula da Silva following a sprawling corruption probe into state-owned oil giant Petrobas, according to local media reports.

The former President was detained and questioned some days back in Sao Paulo as part of investigations.

The federal police had searched his home and offices linked to him including homes of family members.
