November 25, (THEWILL) – Veteran Nigerian singer, Bright Chimezie, has declared his support for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
The musician took to Instagram to announce his endorsement for Obi on Thursday.
Chimezie called on Nigerians to vote wisely, adding that the restoration of Nigeria should remain a top priority for everyone.
“Dear family and fans, I wish to reiterate that as an entertainer and having sat on the Ziggima throne for over 40 years, I commit to continue to “ziggimatically” put hearty smiles on all faces irrespective of individual inclinations.
“However, marching Obidiently to the call for restoring Nigeria remains the number one prerogative of the nation at this point. Vote Wisely!”, he wrote.
