September 20, (THEWILL) – In honour of Nigerian artist and icon, Bruce Onobrakpeya’s 90th birthday anniversary, the Hare & Grouse Art Gallery will stage an exhibition of Prof. Onobrakpeya’s works.
The exhibition, titled ‘Bruce at Ninety’, will run from 21 September to 18th October, 2022.
The almost month-long retrospective will commence at 6 pm prompt, with an opening ceremony at the Hare & Grouse, at 165b Ademola Adetokunbo Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja.
Prof. Onobrakpeya will host a Parlour Session on the second day of the event at Ventures Park around 6 pm.
The private salon will begin promptly at 6 pm and will feature, in addition to the Q&A session, a documentary screening and performances.
Bruce Onobrakpeya is one of Nigeria’s most famous and most prolific artists, with over twenty public collections holding his work.
Prof. Onobrakpeya is a painter, sculptor and print maker and has illustrated numerous literary works.
