BEVERLY HILLS, February 25, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared winner of Saturday’s presidential election in Kwara state.
The state is a stronghold of Senate President Bukola Saraki of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who also lost his bid to return to the Senate.
Buhari garnered 308,984 votes against the 138,184 by Atiku Abubakar of the PDP.
THEWILL recalls that Buhari won in Ekiti and Osun states while Atiku won in FCT.
