BEVERLY HILLS, July 05, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday met with some governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
They are Zamfara State Governor, Abdulaziz Yari, Jigawa State Governor, Abubakar Badaru and Kebbi State Governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu.
The meeting came barely less than 24 hours after a splinter group emerged from the APC with the name Reformed All Progressives Congress, R-APC and also in less than two weeks to the governorship election in Ekiti state.
The three governors who are all from the North West declined efforts by the State House correspondents to know the agenda of the meeting.
Although two of the governors when approached to comment had made some signs suggesting that every inquiries should be directed to the Chairman of Governors Forum, Alhaji Yari, he, (Yari) however, simply said that it was a private visit.
